Balls, quadrilles, and country dancing had their place in many of Austen’s novels.  But, what about Persuasion?  What about our poor heroine, Anne Elliot?

My poem, Heed, is about struggling and simply getting…through…the…day.

The holidays, for many, can be particularly difficult to get through. But knowing that you’re loved offers great comfort…illuminating comfort.
